Warehouse District

The Warehouse District in downtown Raleigh is one of the latest areas to see an urban revival.  Only three blocks away from the Raleigh Convention Center and walking distance to Glenwood South, the area is well located.  Restaurants such as The Pitt and Humble Pie have been in the area for many years.  The latest additions to the area are the new Citrix offices, currently under construction, and CrankArm Brewing Company.

The new Contemporary Art Museum and many Art Galleries are located in the Warehouse District.  You can also shop for locally made, hand crafted jeans at Raleigh Denim.

Locally owned restaurants and cool nightspots are rapidly popping up in this hip area.  There is plenty of opportunity for cool urban housing in this area and we are sure that new developments will be coming soon.

As of now, it still has its edge with old brick buildings and warehouses, industrial elements, railroad tracks and trendy hipster joints. It’s a great part of town to take pictures with interesting backdrops.
